레키 홈페이지에 나오는 주요 용어에 대한 설명입니다.

제품을 안써봐서 무슨 뜻인지 저두 잘 모르겠네요...^^

=====

ANTISHOCK
– Just like the springs on your bike or car, it absorbs shock!
LEKI Antishock is available a few different ways depending on the model and the year it was manufactured.

  • "One setting Antishock": Antishock spring is on all the time
  • "Triple Spring Antishock": choice of 3 settings
  • "Soft Antishock System": soft Elastomer and spring with on/off option

You can tell which Antishock your poles have by looking on the upper section. You should see an icon or words that describe which system is in your middle section.

BASKETS
– Keeps the poles from slipping into mud and soft soil (practice environmental stewardship by using your Baskets!)

  • LEKI Performance Baskets can be swapped out to Snowflake Baskets (#8-575-003) for snowshoeing!

1) To remove your Basket, hold your pole with the grip up.

2) Apply downward pressure on the Basket while turning it clockwise on the Flextip.

3) To attach a new Basket to your pole, push it onto the tip with a counterclockwise motion.

4) When you put the Basket on, make sure that it is pushed completely to the top of the Flextip.

GRIPS – Where your hands grab the poles:
There are different Grips on models in each series of poles. Material, Shape/Position on the shaft and Positive Angle are a few distinguishing features.
MATERIAL:

  • COR-TEC (cork)
  • Thermo Foam
  • ErgoSOFT Rubber
  • Plastic

SHAPE/POSITION/POSITIVE ANGLE:

  • 15˚ Positive Angle – Located just below the Grip this bend in the upper shaft section places your wrist in a neutral and relaxed position
  • Ergometric - Shape and design incorporates the Positive Angle INTO the grip. The main benefit is the smaller packing size of the pole by up to 4"
  • Straight – The Grip is not positioned in a Positive Angle
  • Cane style – Shaped like a cane but easier on the wrist

LEKI – In 1954, Karl Lenhart's hobby of making lightweight ski poles for friends and family became a business. In 1984, Karl's son Klaus assumed leadership of the company. A combination of the owner's name (LE from Lenhart) and the town where the company is located (KI from Kirchheim, Germany) it is pronounced, Lay-Kee

SOFT ANTISHOCK SYSTEM (SAS)

  • A combination of steel spring and Elastomer provides a smooth and precise Antishock action which can be left on or turned off

STRAPS – Put your hands through the bottom of the straps for optimal comfort!

  • Automatic Comfort Strap - the adjustment comes from a cam inside that locks the strap length with downward pressure of the hand
  • P2 Strap- has a one-touch strap adjustment with an external locking tab

STANDARD EXPANDER SYSTEM – Locking System:

  • Standard Expander System is a split dowel that opens inside to lock the length adjustment in place

STOP MAX MARK – Visual reminder to stop pulling the section out from the one above it:

  • It is perfectly fine to take your LEKI poles apart to clean them
  • If you get to the "Stop Max" just slide the section back in very carefully
  • In a quick motion, pull out the section so the two separate
  • If you get to the "Stop Max" mark again, loosen the pole section even more for less friction

SUPER LOCK SYSTEM (SLS
) –

  • Super Lock System (SLS) is an Expander/screw locking system that was proven to be the strongest by TUV, an independent testing lab
  • LEKI SLS has 140kg holding force and 360˚ reverse turn security

TRIPLE SPRING ANTISHOCK – Pushing down on the upper section sets the Antishock. Three different spring settings can be set for different terrain:

  • In the 1st setting, the Antishock is most efficient for ascents since it is "almost off"
  • In the 2nd setting, the Antishock is cushioning "Medium Spring"
  • In the 3rd setting, the Antishock should be left on for descents and "Full Spring"
    • To set the Triple Spring, place the pole Flextip on a hard outdoor surface like pavement or a rock. Push the upper section down firmly until you feel the spring fully compressed. Rotate the upper section 1/3 turn to the left (to the right will loosen the locking system) and release; the spring will now be in its new setting.
    • Always turn the upper section 1/3 to the left to reset the Antishock setting
